Formula Student

The MTU Formula Student Society will be competing in the Formula Student competition each year in the UK. As part of the society you will be able to join our team as we design, build and test our car. We will also be holding many social events and trips throughout the year.

Formula Student is an engineering competition held annually where students are challenged to design, build, test and race a small-scale formula style racing car. Teams are judged on a number of criteria including design, cost and  business. Formula Student is a must for any students looking to pursue a career in motorsport especially Formula 1 and it is a great way to boost your CV. 

We are looking for engineering, business, marketing and social media students. We also welcome any other students who wish to be part of the team and help in some way. 

If you have any interest in Formula and are looking to make friends with people with similar interests, please feel free to join the society!
