The LGBTQ+ Society is a safe place for students to explore their queerness, form friendships and support each other!
The LGBTQ+ Society will offer a safe space for all individuals, with fun activities, and an uplifting atmosphere that offers a social setting for queer discussions and awareness in our community.The society and its events are open to everyone regardless of sexuality or gender identity.
History
The LGBT Society in Tralee has existed since 2010. After Covid-19 the society fell inactive, but reformed as the LGBTQ+ Society in January 2024
Achievements
2019 Best Poster Winner in IT Tralee Societies Awards.
Nominated for best promotional video at the 2024 BICs Awards
Meetings
We have regular screenings of movies on Monday evenings with LGBTQ+ themes.
